Have any
questions?

Great!  We love questions.

We're always asking questions around here.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Yes!

Our practice is currently in network with the following insurances:

- Aetna

- Blue Cross Blue Shield (all plans including CareFirst, Highmark, Anthem, etc)

- Capital Blue Cross

- Quest Behavioral Health (Quest EAP)

- United Behavioral Health (Optum)

This list is kept up-to-date so it remains accurate. Last updated 05/27/2026

WHAT IF MY INSURANCE Isn't listed?

You can call the phone number on the back of your insurance card to get a list of therapists who are covered by your insurance.

Some people skip insurance and opt to self pay.

$125 initial intake/assessment (55 minutes)

$115 regular individual session (55 minutes)

$130 regular couple session (55 minutes)

We do not offer extended sessions longer than 55 minutes.

Payment in cash, credit card (VISA, Discover, Mastercard, American Express), or check is accepted.

WILL YOU SEE ME?

Matt works with anyone age 14 and older, and Janelle works with anyone age 15 and older. We work with anyone regardless of race, gender, and religious background, and we work with individuals as well as couples.  We primarily work with folks who live in Chambersburg and the surrounding Franklin / Fulton County areas. However, if you life outside of this area and are located somewhere else in Pennsylvania, you can be seen via telehealth.

IS TELEHEALTH RIGHT FOR ME?

If we can meet in person, the preference is to see you in person.

We believe a therapy session is particularly valuable when client and therapist are face to face.  If accessibility is a concern for you, know that the office is located in a building that has a working wheelchair lift.

If you live far from the office and schedules do not allow for in-person sessions, we are happy to accommodate you via telehealth.

I see "LPC" behind your name... what's that MEAN?

LPC stands for Licensed Professional Counselor.

Licensure is important because, unfortunately, anyone can call themselves a counselor whether they have received sufficient training or not.

Both therapists working at Collective Renewal have the LPC credential. This means that they obtained a Master's Degree, completed 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience after obtaining their degree, and passed an exam to be licensed as a therapist by the State of Pennsylvania.

Licensed Professional Counselors are also required take a number of continuing education credits each year. This allows therapists to stay current with research-backed practice, and keep licenses active.

WHAT IF I'VE NEVER BEEN TO THERAPY?

Then, welcome!  We're so glad you are entrusting us with your first experience with therapy.  We truly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy, if they are open to change.  If you have never been to therapy, you may be surprised that depictions in the media aren't always very accurate. Let us know if you're feeling particularly uncertain about coming to therapy. There's room for all of your experience.

Also, know that your situation doesn't have to be "really bad" in order for us to meet.  (But it is OK if it is!)  You get to dictate the change you want to see in your life. You will get out of therapy what you put into it. Some days are more work, some are less. It's a process.

Even if it is not with us, we encourage you to take your first step in the life-changing journey of therapy.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

If you're ready to hit the ground running, you can request a session at any time. If you're uncertain and want to chat with us first, call 717 660 0704. We're ready when you are!

GET IN TOUCH.
